Cole’s bowls

Bowls

Who has more imagination than a 15 month old kid? I don’t know if Cole thinks he’s modeling a hat, wearing a helmet, or fending off mind control waves, but if there’s a mixing bowl in the vicinity, it will end up on his head in short order.

Flying leap

BMX

A friend and I ran into a group of bikers and skaters a few years ago in a suburban park. I thought this image was appropriate for the theme because this kid was quite good, and you could tell that he knew it.

Final destination

Grave

Each one of us is engaged in a battle against time, and slowly losing.

This thing all things devours:
Birds, beasts, trees, flowers;
Gnaws iron, bites steel;
Grinds hard stones to meal;
Slays king, ruins town,
And beats high mountain down.

Climate change

Polar Bear

The day I took this photo, it was extraordinarily hot for Cleveland (high 90s). This poor polar bear just looked… well… blue. Dreaming of an ice floe, perhaps.
